Brief info
Lisa grew up in Seattle and was taken hiking by her parents until she was old enough to go on her own, often just with other teenage friends. Now retired from pediatric nursing and living in the Tri-Cities, she has come to appreciate the Ice-Age Floods landscape and the wide-open views hiking there offers. She volunteers with the Friends of Badger Mountain trail crew and takes a few Washington Trails Association volunteer vacations each summer. Lisa’s ongoing goal is to do more hiking without heavy tools.
