Brief info
Beth is the Recreation Grants Manger for the Department of Natural Resources and was excited to join WSTC in 2023. Beth grew up outside Washington but annual summer trips to visit family always included hikes in the Central Cascades. She got hooked on trail work during summer stints with Rocky Mountain Youth Corps in college and worked for the Student Conservation Association before landing in Washington in 2013 where she worked on trails seasonally for the Mountains to Sound Greenway and Washington Trails Association. Beth has a Master’s in Cultural and Environmental Resource Management from Central Washington University. After a few years in Oregon, she’s happy to be back running, backpacking and hiking with her husband and daughter on Washington trails.
