Brief info
Randy grew up in Connecticut, but has been living in Washington State for the last 25 years specifically for the trails, the mountains, and the trails in the mountains. Randy works for the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission as the agencies Statewide Trail Coordinator. In this capacity he works on development of State Parks long-distance rail-trails as well as in-park natural surface trail systems. With over 1100 miles of State Park trail this keeps him plenty busy. In his spare time he takes full advantage of the amazing trails at Capitol Forest outside of Olympia.
